Directors and Nominating Committee Members Elected at 2011 Annual Meeting

The Association held its 77th Annual Meeting on April 1st, 2011 here in Clovis.  The Teller Committee met on May 6th, 2011 to determine the results of the Director Election, and the Nominating Committee Election.  Nominating Committee serves one (1) year.  The following Directors were elected to serve a 3 year term: Greg Burris and Randy Autrey.

The results of the election were very good again this year.  We mailed 266 ballots and received 96 for a 36% return.  We appreciate the stockholders showing an interest and taking part in the affairs of your Association.

Now that the ballots have been tallied the Association would like to congratulate Greg Burris on his reelection to the Board and also welcome the newly elected member Randy Autrey.  Before Randy was elected, he was quoted saying “It would be an honor to be elected to the Board and be able to serve all of the borrowers of Ag New Mexico while further expanding my knowledge of the banking industry”.

Randy Lee Autrey, age 42, has been in agriculture all of his life. Randy and his wife Lori have two sons.  His father, James Autrey is also a stockholder of Ag New Mexico, FCS, ACA.  His operation consists of 15,000 acres were he raises hay and corn silage and he runs his cow/calf and stocker operation.  At this time he serves on the Torrance County Fair Board.  In the past he has served on the Torrance County USDA Farm Service Agency Advisory Committee, Estancia Basin Water Planning Committee, and Production Credit Association Board of Directors in Albuquerque.
